    Posted: 26 May 2020 at 11:20am
I have been looking for a 5 k lever throttle pot. Can't find anything but a spring return style for a golf cart foot switch. I need this for my Jacobsen Mower, it has a 2k on it now, with new governor, it needs a 5 k. Where would a person find one? Been to eBay, not satisfied with them. Any help appreciated. Tracy

Chaskaduo, I looked at those. They have a return spring in them. I need one without a return spring. I might have to settle for that and try to remove the spring. My mower is a drive by wire. Thanks Tracy

Is this a foot pedal or console lever? What year & model is your Jacobsen Mower? Do you have a Jacobsen part #? What's the price of Tea in China today?

The best tea in China can be sold to 1000 dollars per 500g. Very expensive! But ordinary tea in China is cheap. Their prices vary from 10 dollars to 100 dollars per 500g.

Console lever. Jacobsen part won't work, too low of resistance. It is a 445G Turfcat, 72 inch front mounted deck. late 90's mower, tad over 700 hours. Thanks Tracy

I tried to find a part # to look at pics of it and specs. All I could come up with is the manuals. In the Service/repair manual 1 pdf, Sec-2C pages 2-3, and Sec-10M pages 1-16, is info on adjusting and testing the potentiometer and to the controller and other tests and settings. The Parts Book or Diagrams don't show a part#. Hope these are usefull, took some diggin.

I like the idea of getting one that FITS and will do the job, then taking off the return spring and scrapping that.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Chaskaduo, I changed out the digital governor on this mower. Can't get the Barber-Colman that was original. That is what the 2.5 k pot worked well. This new governor requires a 5k pot. I wanted the throttle lever type instead of the round knob type. I am still looking myself, not much luck! Thanks tracy

Hhave you a picture of the 'pot' ? You might be able to get just the 'pot' and not have to buy the complete assembly.....
