Is it possible to adapt this header off a F2 to hookup to a international 715. I’ve got a decent amount of corn this year and if all does well it’s going to take a while with the k and a 2 row. Just thought if it had been done or if it was possible to do with the difference in drive hookups. Been looking for a red header for it and haven’t had any lucky and also had a adapter for green head to red machine and haven’t even been able to find one of them Idk where all the corn heads have went around here

I'm sure you can graft it on there somehow. Like putting a saddle on a sow. I'd be concerned about the driveshaft speed on the 715 being the correct speed. Too fast or too slow and all your work is for naught.

I adapted a JD grain head to my F2. Not a big job. Find the speed for red head and speed for silver combine. Use chain and sprockets to drive head the correct speed. MACK

I had thought about the difference in drive rpms everything but I didn’t know if it had already been tried or not but if I’m going to have to go through the trouble of engineering a well thought out hookup I can probably have all the corn cut before I have enough time to stop scratching my head
