Well now that I have the right thread.
![]() Sounds like a fun project! I've got a AC 2900T from a Gleaner combine I would love to refit into my spare 99 Ford F250 super duty four door 4WD that has a blown up V10 in it.

From what I can find they were a 4 cylinder 3.3l turbo engine with roughly 14:1 compression and good for around 75 HP at 2400 RPM give or take.
I would suspect that some of the guys on this forum with a bit of tinkering could probably get one to 100+ HP at 3000 RPM with only minor changes and still have it live for years as a daily driver engine.

I put a 433I from F2 combine in a 72 Chevy c10. Used a F2 flywheel, Ford pressure plate will bolt to it. Used a Ford 4 speed overdrive tranny from F150. Truck already had a 4 flue radiator, so I ran with no fan. 3rd gear, direct it will run 58-60mph at 2450 eng. rpm In July 1984 I drove to California and back with 10ft. cab over camper, had to run 3rd gear avg. 15.8 mpg Still have truck I need to do body work on it.

if you don't have the engine I would try to find one out of a 6080 most were close to 100hp and they were inter cooled as well, they also had counter balancers on the crank to absorb the 4 cylinder shake next look at the trans you may want t use an automatic maybe a 6spd Allison with double od reason for this is the thrust bearing is week in the 433 also the loading and unloading of the crank when you shift is hard on the crank that was what killed the purple allis motors in trucks if the had the automatics that back then we might still have allis truck

The loading and unloading of the crank when you shift isn't what killed the Big Al truck engine. There were several other issues that all contributed to the death of the Big Al truck engine.

Lowell, I have a 433I sitting on a rack wagon waiting to be installed into my AC 706D forklift. It came out of a gleaner F3. I'll measure it's length tomorrow (flywheel-fan?). I'm guessing it weights - 900lbs??

I do have a gleaner K2 orange 433T. No, it's not for sale. It measures 29" from rear housing(includes 1/2" Trans mount plate) to front crankshaft pulley and/or water pump pulley. Add 3" more if you leave water pump radiator fan assy. Add 2.5" more for AC gleaner flywheel.
So... - 28.5" from block's rear to pulleys, - 29" from block's rear plate to pulleys, - 32" from block's rear plate to fan front. - 34.5" if you include gleaner K2 flywheel. Hope that helps. |

No, completely different engine. Way too small for an HD6. |
