OK guys I need my memory freshened up some on
removing the head on a 3700 motor. I replaced a couple of sleeves and pistons back in the 90's but that's been a while. What sequence do you use to remove the head bolts for example. Will a 3500 head and a 3700 head both fit on the same block. And what about swapping the front covers also, will the 3500 water pump circulate enough coolant to keep the 3700 cool or would I need to use the 3700 water pump. Thanks guys. |

Usually you loosen/remove the bolts is the opposite way you install them.
