426 early vers late engines?

i was offered an engine that has a spun bearing with lots of hrs on the engine  "7030" any ways shortly before he spun the bearing he had head issues and replaced the head with a new or refurbushed head.  ok my question is i have a 7045 which is a black belly as a project tractor which will need the head gone thru my question is there any head updates between the early vers late 426 engines that would make it a bad idea to swap heads?
