I have a AC C me and my boy are restoring I have a new 3 position switch and try to find out how to wire it has 3 lugs for wires but no marking on it thanks for any help Tony

If you look at the switch closely, one of the lugs should be connected to a resistor.  That lug needs to be connected to the wire that goes to the "F" terminal on the generator.  The other two lugs are basically electricity in and electricity out to the lights.  One of them should be connected to a fuse.  Hook up the electricity supply to the lug connected to the fuse.  Electricity out to the lights should be connected to the remaining lug.

Be careful with those aftermarket light switches. They don't fit well in some of the instrument boxes and can short out and burn up the system.  We have an exchange program going on the OEM AC Delco switch which was original equipment to the AC machines....
