when i start my 220 in the morning it starts right up but when it gets warmed up after i use it awhile i go and shut it off and i have to prime the pump in order to start it again? Talked to a guy and said that it might be the return line off the pump. want to make sure before i get it overhauled. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Mark!

Take off the return line and see if you have something that looks like coffee grounds. If so, you have a failing governor ring.

hard hot start is usually indicative of a worn out head & rotor assembly.

Next time you shut it off hot, make sure you're near a garden hose and run a bunch of cold water all over the pump head area where the injector lines attach, just before you try to start it. If it starts better by this cooling down method, it's time for a head&rotor.
