I am looking into the cost of getting this working. Looking at compressors it lists on for a model with a superheat switch. Whats that? It has a smaller pulley.

Superheat switch is a safety switch that will cut the current to the compressor's pulley clutch if have a loss of refrigerant by detecting low pressure side temperature.
Most replacement compressors don't come with one, so you have to pull the one from your old compressor, or you can replace it with a new one. Here's the best price I have seen on the web with a quick search: http://compare.ebay.com/like/270968245364?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&_lwgsi=y&cbt=y
Check the manual for the wiring, I believe it is wired to the thermal limiting switch as well. Hurst
