For sale is a 1953 Allis Chalmers WD. 1953 was the last year the WD model was made. It was also the first year the WD-45 was made. This tractor is a kind of crossbreed. As the factory was running out of WD parts, they used WD-45 parts. has two clutch power control, single hitch point, traction booster, power shift wheels, 24-30 HP Rebuilt starter, rebuilt generator, 6 volt positive ground system, new battery box, replaced exhaust manifold, marvel Schreiber carb, brand new radiator, calcium filled rear wheels, brand new front tires, brand new right rear tire, left rear is in excellent shape but older. Spinouts all move freely. I have the trip bucket, bucket frame, 2 sets (4) of hydraulic rams, and hoses. Bucket is currently not connected. Excellent running tractor. Selling to get more room for more projects. $4,500. I have more pictures and video of it running.

LOL. No such thing as a crossbreed. Just because the WD and the WD45 shared a lot of common parts does not make any of them a crossbreed. From the description and the pictures, it appears to be just another plain old standard 1953 WD no different at all than a late 1952 WD and nothing in common with a WD45 except for the aforementioned common parts. The only thing that does stand out to me is the 4 bolt front bolster which is not original to any 1953 WD or WD45 which both would have had the earlier 3 bolt front bolster prior to the 4 bolt design which came out in late 1954. A beautiful looking tractor in it's own right but nothing special enough about it to make a WD worth that much IMHO but I wish you good luck finding a new home for it.

Yes, it does appear bent, not curved like the 45 has.
