That's probably what my pulley was for originally. The WC it was on had an add on disengagement device.

With the clutch and flywheel out of the way, maybe not too bad, which means you separate the engine from the bell housing. The top half of the seal retainer is bolted on the back of the block. The bottom half is the rear main bearing cap.
NEVER trim the seal down because it "looks too long" It all goes in Watch the video Jim D boys did of Don's oil pan replacement. Here. [TUBE]9LWCMvO_Dis[/TUBE]
