That is quite a lever on there. Maybe it is just for the loader? Hard to say without a better picture.

I agree with previous posts... keep the tractor if you can. It has family ties, and it will be a handy little machine to have around.

That looks like the area where the lever for the Char-Lynn pump comes up under the seat. Someone could have made an extra long one.

It's not a CA. CA's had power shift wheels, pan seat and the fenders are too straight up. That lever looks like a CA hand clutch lever but I would bet it is for the hydraulic valve to run the loader. Maybe an extension from a PTO hydraulic pump. ????????

Correct, and someone already read the serial number I posted and said it was a 40 B.....
