My PTO lever sheered off! It broke close to the transmission so theirs no way to weld it back on. any ideas on how I replace it?

Can you drill it and tap it, then put a hardened bolt in it with a long thread. Then tack weld it. Then cut the unthreaded part off. Put a fabricated handle on it and tack weld the new handle to the all thread?

Clean weld from lever, place lever over shaft and re weld. Have done a lot of them. MACK

The heat would probably melt the O ring, then you would always have an oil leak there. If you can take the tractor out of commission for a while, you can take the assembly out, fix it up and put a new O ring on it at the same time. |

Split the tractor where the torque tube meets the transmission. Everything will be accessible after that.
