Here's the XT my friend bought at the Dec auction for $3500. We put a new fuel on/off cable on it this morning and a used tach as the one that was on it was a right hand and we needed a left hand. The high range jerks and skips so she's in the shop now for the fix. The paint and decals aren't just right but the man who sold it had an awful lot of time cleaning and fixing what he did. Oh yeah yesterday we put on an either kit. The engine runs real good. The XT in the background has baled 20,000 bales every year since 1970. He put in a new pto gear last week under the belly as the old one broke some teeth this fall. Happy New year, and I'll be reporting what is amiss with the high range soon. Dana

Captain,

You're friend paid only $3,500 for the tractor, looking like that?  Jeepers, I just brought home a 385 4 row planter in great working condition for $750.  I thought I got a good deal, but maybe I should ask for a rebate or something.  Looks like a great tractor for that price, even if it winds up needing some work.
