I own a 1969 190xt that needs an engine overhaul and a turbo. My cousin has decided to sale his 1966 it had an engine overhaul about 1000 hours ago, but has some other issues now. He's gave me a price I can't pass up. My question, is there any reason I can't do an engine swap and what about other parts that will or won't be the same. Thanks

I’d keep & fix both of them. What’s the issue on the 1966?

Rough, leaks everything maybe some transmission problems. Can't afford to fix both.

They will swap.  Take 2 make 1 - sell the rest.
