A fella brought a 190 xt series 3 in because of a bad growling in the rear end,, messing around with it, im thinking its in the Powerdirector cause its a rotating motion growl ;;; anyone deal with this before or have this problem and have any insight whats wrong,?

Set the brakes......shift transmission into road gear.....leave Power Director clutch in neutral......release engine foot clutch. No noise? your problem must be in the transmission or rear end. Have noise? maybe an issue with the intermediate gears ahead of the Power Director clutch.
