I have a question as to why the reliance overhaul kit I bought has 3 o rings for each liner? Shouldn't it be one orange and one black? Am I missing something that I didn't notice when I took the old ones out? This is my first engine and trying to do it correct

Cut the third groove between the two. I always do. Red on bottom, next two black. MACK

I called reliance about that when I overhauled my 185 and they said they just send an extra black one and to discard it.

Look your main bearings over good in the kit. Mine had some nicks in them from the machine and they send me new ones. I would probably buy my bearings elsewhere next time but everything else seemed good quality.

Mack, do you take the sleeves to a machine shop to get that extra O ring groove cut in there? And if so, what does it cost to have that done. Thanks, Darrel |
