Is the Diesel cap on a 185 suppose to be silver or painted red?  Trying to keep our 185 looking original.  The painter painted the cap red, which looks really nice, but was it that way from the factory?

Mine is plain zinc plated, this tractor has never been painted, so I'm assuming that it left the factory like this.

Allis just painted them orange along with the hood.  Red was/is being used to distinguish it as  a fuel cap.
