I have a 185 that the 3 point will not lower while running. If off it will lower but raises immediately when started. Any suggestion?

You have a hydraulic spool stuck or linkage ( ussually draft control ) that is binding and letting the spool return to center. Soak all linkages with penetrant that are in under the plate connecting to all 4 or 5 levers. They must all move.
Try moving the 2 levers setting behind the 3 pt and remote cylinder controls. Move too far back and then forward a few times. Start tractor and see if it operates.
There's older posts on here from people that explained it a lot better.

Traction booster/position linkage is froze up most likely.

Just fixed a One-Seventy today by loosening the pivot bolt the TBoost finger pivots on. Let the bolt be the pivot and quit worrying about the bushing inside of the finger.
