Can a 175 WF (later style) and pump be switched to series 3 or older D17 and fit in 17 sheet metal?

I don't see how. The 175 side frames are different as to how they attach at the front and the air cleaner is ahead of the radiator, so that means everything is longer.  What are you trying to accomplish ?? I have a live hyd system designed for an older D-17 that would utilize a belt driven pump (where PS pump might be now) and supplying hyd oil flow to live hyd valves to the right of the seat and then power steering afterwards.

I ran across a rough 175 and was trying to justify bringing it home. I guy on here wanted one of my 400 series loader for an older 17. I have not been able to locate the front pumps(3) that I put somewhere so I wouldn’t lose them. Tractor is a late style 175 Perkins w/loader and not ran in a very long time.
