Eldon, are those weights for early D17, or for D17 IV and 170-175? Are the early D17 weights differant? I was wondering because of the wheel center change. Thanks Tracy

These are the correct weights for the D17 SIV and up through the 170-185 series with 28"  rims.  You can spot them by the little round knob them.

they should be correct for the series 3 and up to 185 with 28" wheels.

yes there was another casting for the older style of wheel center also.

My parts manual shows the type I have. They won't fit my wheel without riding on lug bolt heads. They don't have the little round protrusion either. Thanks Tracy Martin

I also  found out these segment weights fit on 38" wheels if they are reversed...but do inhibit lugbolt removal.

Eldon or Tracy?  .....The rear weight that came with my AC175 (photo above)....is that an AC weight,  or an aftermarket one?

Was it intended for AC175,  or another model or make??

Eldon;  you posted before I could ask you...ha!  Can you tell me more ?

I'll try to look at those weights tomorrow?

That's  the tractor that just started leaking oil out the manifold elbow...dripping down onto rails.  I'm afraid it's a ring or piston / engine problems??  Several AC fellows thought it might be injectors?   only 3600 hrs?

The weights on 175 are AC weights, more popular on the 7000 series.  I'll check the AM number tomorrow and post it.  We kept them off our 7020 when we traded it.  I now have them on our D15.

I checked the number on our weights like the weights on "NC Bruce" 175.  Andy reminded me they actually started out on our 1974 200.
The number is; 25887
                      -02-WA
Perhaps the 300 pound D17 doughnut would appeal to your eye better.  Either way both styles of D series pie sectional, the WD, the above weight or even F&H weights will all work for you.  The 190/200 pie sectional weight would not work very well.

Looked at those weights on above AC175D tractor (photo), and the numbers are:  256687-02-WA      Are these Allis Chalmers?  or after-market?

Tracy, here's some photos up close.  Is this what you asked for?  Let me know if you want more?  thanx,
Bruce Odel

Bruce, they look like AC weights. Early casting had AM on them, I can't say on those. AC weights pictured in my book has 7 slots for bolts,4 grooves in register ring. How do you want to ship them. LOL Tracy Martin

I got to thinking, when I mentioned 300# D17 doughnut weights, there are two styles of them as well.  Both are Rowe Martinsville, IL foundry and use four bolts to attach.  One states D17 and has four small 1/2 round circles to allow room for the wheel rails.  The other style just says Rowe FDR and it has five areas to allow room for rails and valve styme.  The 190/220 doughnut weights will not work and have six bolts holes to attach.
