am reading operators manuel for 160

transmission calls for 10w30 oil of the A.P.I. classification DM or MS

what is that telling me?

I have a john deere and massey that take hydraulic oil in transmission
is this telling me the same thing?

Mine is content with Chevron THF
8030 and 8050MFWD, 7580, 3 6080's, 160, 7060, 175, heirloom D17, Deere 8760
