Hi Everyone,

Tore down my 160 for what looked like a bad head gasket and found cracks in the head (and a bad gasket). Looking for a new head I'm finding plenty to fit Massey at reasonable prices. Should be the same engine as far as I can tell.

Here's the head I'm looking at; can anyone say whether or not it will be a fit?

Seems like I remember Perkins put that engine in a lot of things like boats. You may want to check with a diesel rebuilder for more info so you don't wind up with the wrong head.

Should be same! but I would ask dealer and give them serial number of yours. Cracked head on them is rare! But like anything stuff happens.
