I have never seen one but have been told the shield shaped flat raised area cast into later blocks could be machined out to accept a fuel pump. My parts book has different part numbers for engine blocks and camshafts used for 125 engines with fuel pumps.
Does anyone know what year the first 125 engine blocks were cast to be machined for a fuel pump? Most CA and late B blocks have the raised flat spot cast into the block. 60H power units too.
Page 57 of my Jensales parts manual shows the fuel pump.
