New member, Age old question. I have a G that runs a few minutes, then quits. It restarts, runs and then dies. When it does run steadily, if I apply a load, by dropping the tool bar and engaging discs or cultivator shanks, it dies. It ran great all summer, with a few issues. Now I need to lay out beds to plant garlic and it's acting up, again. Thanks and God bless, Mike

my fuel filter was plugged on a small engine and it did that.. kept running out of gas if you loaded the engine or ran much time at high idle..
Check fuel flow, check carburetor float setting, drain bowl if possible ( crud).

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Earlier, I pulled the carb. Little bit of white residue from the tank. Then I took the carb apart.... cleaned, nice. Then I took the sediment bulb off...lots of white sediment. THEN I noticed the screen was dirty.....took it off.....and found a second screen underneath the first. Really dirty and white. No wonder I had no steady fuel flow, an air bubble formed between the screens. Waiting for gasket cement to tack dry before reassembly. I feel pretty confident the screens were the issue. The problems started to slowly get worse after the carb was rebuilt last year or the year before. Let's hope. Thanks for the tip, it reinforced what I think I found. God bless, Mike
