Hey Snow man, thanks for sharing all the beautiful pictures of the first tractor ride that I participated in. I thought you did a fantastc Job of heeping us moving in a very safety minded way. The only other time I remember meeting you was again in Union Grove. You were looking for the white caps. You spotted mine in the vending area and you also bought an Allis Chalmers clock from me. Hope to see you again at some Allis event, and I will be sure to wear the same white cap you presented to to all the riders

Thanks for posting the album of pctures from the 2005 "The Ride Home" I enjoyed the album and it brought pack great memories. The next time I saw you was again in Union Grove at a later convention and you were looking for the white caps. You spotted mine in the vending area and purchased an original Allis Clock from me. I am now at the age your dad was in 2005. But not to old to do anothe caravan ride.

It was great meeting up with the “Snowman” and wife at a tractor pull in Southern Utah this past May. If anyone wants to look at the album of the Madison to Albert City Caravan on Don’s website…that’s me unloading our 1939 High Crop WC in the very first photo. My 10 year old son, Treyson made the ride on the jump seat you can see. Treyson also made a deal with Don on the ride to buy a B208 lawn tractor from him that Snows brought to the Albert City show. Great friends…Great memories!

As a follow-up, daveingreenbay that A-C clock that I purchased from you is still working and holds time great. I'm glad you liked that Ride Home Caravan from 2005 and that we could reconnect at the second gathering they had in Union Grove. For the guys that live in the beautiful state of Utah, Kip and Sheridan that ride from Madison SD to Albert City did form some lasting friendships. Looking back at those pictures brings back some great memories. How it worked out that we were able to see you and your dad last spring while we were traveling was special in that you had a tractor pull event in the same area we were staying in and hadn't planned that out ahead, wow! ![]() |
