Getting ready to combine soybeans for first time. Using my 60 combine set per manual. Field is planted in 15 inch rows and no weeds. Any advice?

Be careful, watch for holes/ditches/rocks. Listen to the machine. Look at what's going in the tank and what's going out the back and adjust accordingly. Check mostiure. Have fun.

Hope you've got a really slow low gear. Today's (potential )yields can exceed what those combines were made for.

I'm betting you have a 3/8" soybean screen for your combine... Do you have a size up and a size down if needed or do the beans already fit well in the 3/8" screen?

Litle nervous about that dr. Counted 100 pods per plant. Figure i won't be able to take a full cut but if i wait until the beans are very dry, it shouldn't be too tough.

A curved stick WD is better than a straight stick WD. A WD45 is obviously better than a bent stick WD.  A D-17 is better yet.
