First time I’ve ever noticed this on dad’s 6060 that we have had since it was new. We purchased a used 3 pt wood splitter that works great. 2 hydraulic hoses plug into the 1st set of remotes. Pull the remote lever to the rear position and then you can operate the splitter with a handle at the splitter. What I noticed is that I can’t lift the splitter while it’s in the rear position. If I want to lift it I have to put the remote in the center position and then the lift arms will go up. This is not a big inconvenience but found it odd I have to do it that way.

It's the same on both of my D17 IVs. Shut off the valve for the cylinder and then adjust the height.

Thanks for the confirmation, first time in this scenario, it only took 45 years to find the flaw lol.
