As seen on Road Trip to Winchester_2019

Jacob's Hall - Kentucky School for the Deaf

We are Northbound on North US Hwy 127 / South 3rd Street; just South of Main Street.

Located on the East side of US Hwy 127 at the 5.15-Mile Marker.

Jacob's Hall; built in 1857; one of seventeen buildings of the Kentucky School for the Deaf; this place is larger than many college campuses.

The building fronts on South 2nd Street; we are looking at the rear wall.

Someone tell me what that device on the top of the cupola is.

Photo taken through the glass of a moving vehicle.

US Hwy 127 - Danville - Boyle County - Kentucky

Does this one count as old built in 1918.
Not as good of pictures but less other unrelated buildings.
Sorry I got lots more than the first one I wanted.

I am not the photographer you are Buck. I just stole this of the net.
Adelaida Historic Foundation has a web site of sorts with other pictures from events.

On Chimney Rock Road about 13 miles west of Paso Robles California, by road. Less than 10 miles as the crow flies to the Pacific Ocean. Oven 20 miles on a just barely their dirt road more like 40 on pavement.
School was closed in June 1964. I was in the 3rd grade there at the time. One of the last 5 to go there. AHF was formed in the early 2000's to gather money for repair work. In 2009 the building was raised and move forward to put in new foundation, then set back in place. The old hardwood floors where repaired, new siding and roofing were put on. As well as handicap access was built too.

Used for community events.

Yes; that counts.

Are you in that group image ?

You should download that image and embed it in your post so people can see it without clicking.
