Early D series didn't have locking brake pedals. I suspect this set up would make it easier to have your foot on both pedals at the same time. That's the first time I've seen something like this. Looks factory doesn't it?
Am I on the right road?

Hmm, that tractor does have the 'parking brake' cam and tab where the funny shaped (missing) lever/rod goes.
So....I have to ask , why on a corn picker ?

Corn pickers are mounted REALLY TIGHT to the tractor. Dad has a Massey 62 on an 85. He has to turn the outside brake pad 90 degrees (designed to do it) so the picker will fit. AaronSEIA
