Bought new new unassembled AC disc today. Listed as 14 foot. believe its a 10 footer. Tags on it have numbers 382180 on the frame, 32055 on a pan. looks like cement blocks would fit, and 82056, wood bearing 300627. 7 discs on each axle. 4 axles. about 4 ft wide.uploads/22596/disk22-1.jpguploads/22596/disk22-2.jpg new to this forum need to figure out how to post pics.

Wood bearings, probably what is known as a WD disc, But it could be older than even that. From those boxes, in the back of the steel picture, it might be a LaCrosse built 114 disc harrow. If so, its a one way disc, all discs point inward, like the rear gangs of a normal disc, and is spread out pretty wide, in the only picture I have ever seen. The picture I'm talking about is in Swinford's book, being pulled by a WC tractor...

I will. Going to be one of my winter projects. Hope to get it unloaded today. Thinking about using a real light grease on the bearings over the winter. I'm sure the wood is pretty darn dry. Thinking it might soak in some.

Very cool find!
That's a No. 9a Disc Harrow. I have a book in my drawer for it that I'm staring at as we speak. |

Paul, you might try soaking the wood bearings in oil for a few days and see if it soaks some up.. Then when you install, use grease..

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I'm sure it must be an 8 Foot model. I knew it wasn't 14 foot. Can't wait to get started.

No on the wood box. It was on a implement lot. One of their customers put on consignment. Made them an offer and they took it. I think most if not all the parts are there. Maybe missing a couple of bolts.

1st piece of Allis. I just thought it would be a cool project. Thinking after looking at pics in manual it might be missing a part for the back. We raise grass hay and goats. Doubt if it will get used much. If at all. It was cool to find something so old still unused. It would be nice to keep as is.

Roger I'm not far from you. Just outside of Cannon Falls MN. Looked at ebay listing that Allis Dave posted. Looks pretty much like the 9a. I'll take a look at the 15.

Don't think it is a #15. All disc sections are just under 4 feet wide.

OK so I just got it unloaded and looked at tags and manual on ebay. Numbers don't match up. I have 2 bundles each of 32056 and 32055. Those are the pan bundles with hardware. The frame bundle is 382180. Discs are 16 inch. The search continues.

It's not a #9 as the arched piece that pulls the tandem is not there. I would say it's a single disc maybe a #15 as was previously stated.
