I have a 1950 Allis Chalmers Tractor dual fuel. I wanted to buy a new cap for the magneto so I looked at it to get a number for the model. The magneto said was made by International harvester. Is that kosher? I didn't see a model number

IH did build their own mags in the 1930-60 era. I dont know much about them. IH had 4 cylinder motors just like Allis, so if you could fined one with a TANG drive, no reason it would not work........... BUT it was not original.
