Guys, I need some info here, what time frame did AC use the cast iron oil pans on the WC's? I wondered if they ever used them in 1937?  Dave.

David , I had a 34 with cast iron pan. Don't think they used them much longer after that. MACK

I do not know for sure but perhaps they were used during WWII.

Dad has a 1945 WC with a cast iron valve cover but I don't know if was a transplant. It does have the steel rear end. Actually I have most of the tractor now, in pieces and on the long to do list. Never have seen a 37 WC with any cast iron oil pan or valve cover.

I think they were only used in 34 and 35.
30+ A-Cs ranging from a 1928 20-35, to a 1984 8070FWA, Gleaner R52

My '35 had one on it, but it was cracked. I put a steel one to replace it.  I think they returned during the war, but not sure.
Pre-WW2 A-C tractors on steel wheels...because I'm too cheap to buy tires!

i had a 35 with one and I have a engine out of a 36 that has a steel one . Scott

As far as I know they were used in '33-'35. 
'34 WC #629, '49 G, '49 B, '49 WD, '62 D-19, '38 All Crop 60 and still hunting!
