I have seen a couple at tractor shows... on pre 1940 tractors... always wondered if it was factory, or taken off semi truck.. they were 24 inch..
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

The earlier 1938 tractors had them. I put a link to a picture in the original post.

In my earlier days on the farm, we had a B with a 3 digit serial number that we were very sure was all original when we got it. It had lock ring type rims. One was nearly unusable as it had probably has CaCi in them since new.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

Keep seeing 2 or 3 piece rims called SPLIT RIMS - They are not , what are called lock ring rim where a outer ring is held onto full width inner rim by a lock ring which is either a 1 or 2 piece fixture held in tire bead area .
SPLIT RIMS were 2 pieces and joined in center section of rim by fitting the 2 halves together by deforming one half over other and then locked together with groove area. Bead area of tire fit onto each half with lock at center to join rim to working fixture .
Picture shown is a 2 piece rim with split lock ring - rim would have size at bead area the same for inside and outside area to fit tire inner bead diameter . A 3 piece would have slight step down at outer bead area
