hey everyone,i have an ac 5040 and my mechanic is beginning to overhaul the hydraulcs, apparrently there was much water in with the fluid.well, found a used control unit from wengers in pa.,im in nj,and am about to order new sleeve liner, gaskets and o rings....it seems the mystry part to locate is a 4 inch or so o ring that goes with the gasket between the control unit and the piston assembly....im about as green as you can get when it comes to hydraulics,if anyone has an idea where i might locate this o ring,i would greatly appreciate the help..........on a side note, since the trans and hydraulics share the same fluid how sound would i expect the trans to remain if water is in the mix, might it settle to the bottom? or am i embarking on an odessey....im only about 2700 into this tractor over 3 years, deisel, never let me down, ill be about 500 in parts on the hydraulics, was ok with a bottom plow but now that i got a bush hog the lift was bouncing like crazy so it was time to open it up

Go to the AGCO Online Parts Books and find the number for the part and call an AGCO dealer to see if it is an available part.
It should be.
