Went to the Wisconsin State Fair yesterday with the wife and kids.   The wife pointed out this billboard for the kids to get their picture taken in.   How sad is it that I go to West Allis, Wisconsin to the Wisconsin State Fair,  and I'm standing probably less then 1 mile from where many of our favorite tractors came off the assembly line, and my wife points out a sign of a Allis Chalmers tractor, and they can't even paint it with the right color?   Come on, any color orange would be fine, but red?   Sad day for AC indeed.   The company that sponsored this sign and the barn with all the other farm exhibits is Badgerland Financial which is a Wisconsin based company.   I think I am going to send them a copy of this picture and tell them how dissapointed in them I am that they can't even get a portion of Wisconsin's heritage correct like this?
1955 WD45 diesel 203322 was my dad's tractor, 1966 D15 23530, 1961 HD3 Crawler 1918, 1966 D17 IV 83495, 1937 WC 41255, 1962 D19 6221

And I won't even start to comment on the fact of the tractor not even resembling an AC.   Maybe that's why my kids looked so sad to have their picture taken in front of this mess!!

No wonder they are frowning! I love it. You can always play the kid angle and tell Badgerland Financial that the picture was so disturbing to them that they will be scarred by it for a long time because they KNOW that an Allis Chalmers should be ORANGE!

They had to pay so much for the AC logo that they didn't have any more for the quart of PO#1...

Badgerland financial is a bunch of crooks anyway.  Deal with your local bank and you'll get a lot better service and better rates too.

At least it has the Allis Chalmers name. That's better than a certain company we all know and whose name I shall not mention.

The public should be informed, that not only are they in the city that was named and built by Allis Chalmers the land that the state fair is on was donated by the company so they should be showing proper respect!!!!!
