Was in town waiting for our on line cat food order with my wife at Wally world. A newer Ford truck backs into a spot next to use. As I start backing up, I see the truck hood up. I take another look, it is trunk space empty, nothing in there. So I guess a all electric truck.
I had never thought about it. Just assumed the batterers and electric motor to make it move would be in the engine compartment. Those that are not lost out in the backwoods. How much space does the electric motor take to run a full-size pickup truck? How much space do batteries take? The quick look I got it did not seem that deep of a space. so guessing battery's sit down just above the axle? Boy the things I can see if I go to town and look around like O'l Buck. I just am not smart enough to take pictures and post like he does. Then my wife wanted to relive her younger days, says I want a Sham Rock shake from the Mick D's out in the front parking lot. Only to be told we don't have them today despite the big sign advertising them. Back under my rock. Thanks for informing me.

We have a couple electric pickups at work. The motors are where the differentials would be in an internal combustion vehicle. If I remember correctly the batteries are between the frame rails. We didn't get the extended range model, but they are mostly used for short trips so not really a concern.
