Trying to get my 1961 Series 2 D10 ready to take to the New York GOTO. Need to get a new Ignition Switch. The book calls for part number 70235785. If you go to DJs Tractors they have this style of switch, but here is the kicker, in the description it says: "Up to SN: 3500, it will also fit the later serial numbers, but you must
use 70227195 washer so switch will fit the dash (this washer is not
available through DJS Tractor Parts)." My tractor serial number is 41XX. I can't find a picture of this washer, nor a place that has it for sale. What is the need for it? Can I use another washer of a certain diameter? Do I even need it?

I appreciate the response. AGCO Parts online shows no stock when I looked (2nd place I looked, 1st was my parts book). I'll call some of the dealers around and see what they may have. Thanks

I'm not looking in the parts book right now, however the early D10/12 tractors used the Delco switch during production. This is the funny looking key that was also used on Oliver's for many years. I'm guessing that you are trying to retrofit the newer INDAK switch into a tractor that should have the Delco switch. Use the Delco switch and no adapter washer needed.
![]() The Delco switch is available from Brillman.com Part Number B5003-005 Currently $39.95. I may cost a few bucks more than the Indak switch. Because it is a better quality switch. Edited by PaulB - 18 May 2023 at 3:10pm |

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

I think the Allis number for the DELCO switch should be 231705. The washer to use the INDAK switch in early tractor should be 230243
