Was discing last night in some unfavorable conditions (mud) and as the dualled-up XT rear wheels were flinging slop with the disc RAISED, I was reminded of my youth in the same area of the field before it was tiled with a the dualled-up D-17 flinging the same slop 46 years ago!! My question is, why don't the 100 series have an oil pressure gauge? The D 17 at least had a gauge with a needle, it ran on the"M" in NORMAL as I recall, but the 100 series only has the red "idiot" light. If a guy was to install a mechanical gauge, what would be the normal PSI #? Do the 2900 diesels have the same pressure as their 2800 gasser engines?

I took the traction booster guage out of my 190 and put an oil pressure guage in its place. Got a 60 psi guage from stiener even says Allis Chalmers on it. Used a T at the block so the oil pressure light still works.

I put a mechanical gauge in the dash and left the red light but I put a Flasher and a buzzer in line with the light and about the time you get one step down the buzzer tells you you left a key on dumb dumb

I put a tee in mine as well. Idiot light and gauge both work.
