Mowing the grass with the 39 b positive oil pressure and not running hot at all... The motor seized up out of nowhere... Im suspecting a spun main??? Since my shop went with the divorce is it possible to do an im frame rebuild??? Or should I sell it and buy a lawn mower???

An in-frame rebuild is possible. Of course, until you know exactly what went wrong, you won’t know what needs to be fixed. Assuming a spun bearing, that can be done in frame, but it’s, comparatively, a pain. I guess if you had good compression, you could just get new bearings, see if the crank needs machining and go that way.

Now stay tuned for a parade of people who will say that a full rebuild on a stand with a rebuilt head, new liners and pistons is the only way to go....but I assure you that our grandfathers who farmed with these things would probably have just replaced the bearings and got years of use.

Not if the crankshaft is damaged! If it was not knocking you might check for other places that might cause it to lock up. Like bolts in the torque tube turning in on the flywheel, something in the clutch or the power take off gears.

If there is no bolts in the sides then pull the pan and see.

Long shot for your situation but I have had starters lock against the ring gear and lock an engine right up until I take the starter off or out. Any chance you hit the starter and it bound up or the solenoid when weird and locked it up? Long shot but I try to look for the easy stuff before doing an in-frame.

39 B?  Probably no starter.  Certainly no solenoid.

Good thought! I assumed it locked up while mowing. It actually does not say that in his open post.

I'm kinda simple so forgive me for asking but ,just to be clear, did it "seize" while running or it was fine until you went to start it again? Clarify.
