what's with teh front rims/tires ? what's the 'tube'on the hood for ? heck it DOES have a skid plate !

Spinners on the front wheels, to makes it looks good in da hood? 
Maybe the tube injects the blow by, from the worn rings, into the air cleaner?

Maybe the tube is for manual egr....
As for the crash plate, it looks like it has the sub frame of the belly mounted sickle mower. to me it looks hideous painted that way... but to each his own.
