I just received confirmation that my most recent acquisition will be delivered in a few days.  Naturally it is another AC tractor.

Make your guess as to what model it could be!  I'll give a hint, it's from the 1960s.

Sorry to the person who sold it to me, they cannot comment until after the answer has been given!

No clues from me other than it has four wheels. Every farmer has to sell a prize calf as his herd matures and the barn gets full.  See you tomorrow.

Very well put Calvin!  Someone already gave the correct answer.  I'll keep everyone in suspense until the tractor is in the yard and I get pictures.

Delivery complete. Waiting for the right answer to be reviled. They have a collection of immaculately restored tractors. The new addition has found a great home.

Time to announce the winner.  Congrats to AC45Dave for mentioning D15 diesel!

Courtesy of Calvin Schmidt, he had a 1961 D15 Series I diesel with a narrow front end which he was willing to part with and an agreement was made.  Basically all it needs are tires and a new paint job.  Sheet metal is straight and solid, engine and transmission are very good.  Factory power steering and the power director kickout are among the options.  Calvin added the narrow front end and it is one of the things I like most about it - never seen any around this area.  We will probably get started on restoring it after our 190XT gets out of the shop - Hoping for later next year.

Many thanks to Calvin.  He is a TRUE Allis enthusiast.  Not only does he have an impressive collection of tractors and equipment, but his man cave includes a library of everything you wanted to know about Allis Chalmers (and then some)!  He is happy that the tractor will have a good home here.

Now it's picture time (looks a bit naked without sheet metal.  We got it, but not on the tractor)...

Even dad couldn't resist taking it for a spin down the laneway!
