I am rebranding my Fiat-Allis 11-B tractor back to Allis-Chalmers HD-11 Series B. With exception of actual stampings in cast parts, nothing else will reference Fiat in any shape, nor form. I'm on the hunt for actual font and sizing that would have been used prior to 1/1/1974 in the production of these tractors so I can have screens made to replicate the task. Though nothing is bent, all sheet metal is going to be paint stripped, surface imperfections repaired, (rust pitting), and repainted as close to an original construction yellow, or Persian Orange I can mix. Undecided on the color in reality as I had seen both on brand brand new tractors at the plant. If someone has sheet metal with the original font in place, good clear photos with a yardstick, (example) taped in place to show size would work well.

Thanks Steve; Don't remember seeing that one in the past on the battery box side panel. "Series B" was always spelled out that I remember. However, your post may contain enough information to scale from for the hood. I don't know the font myself but the screen printer lady I use is very sharp on things like that.
The photo is the reference I've been using.

Im not sure i have seen a tractor with the "series B" in letters... Wonder if that was a short term thing in the beginning or end.. or photo op ??
also the "AC" Logo on the side of the radiator wrap around ??

I don't know about the AC logo on the hard nose either but I've seen a couple with the "Series B" spelled out. I took that photo from an original 1972, or 1973 printed pamphlet/brochure I've had since about then. I know in 1973 the change from double to single top roller was made unless ordered with the two roller style.
The pamphlet photo font differs on the hood from your photo a bit also.
Lot's of changes with Fiat in the mix so who knows.

also the paint color... You book photo shows a bright deep yellow color that was common about 1970.... You FA photo and my photo show the dark dirty dull yellow that was common by 1980 and into the FIAT years.

Yes, Steve you are correct on the color. When I had the belly pans off my machine and went to get a single stage construction yellow, it was noted there were several different "shades" that Allis-Chalmers used. I had taken the bottom cover that covers the engine drain plug with me and matched that to the chip in the book. It matches the tractor, but not the brochure for the tractor.
All the photos in the brochure have the AC emblem on the hard nose with some having the "Series B" spelled out beneath this, but not all. All photos have it on the hydraulic tank, and battery box sidewall spelled out. Only Allis-Chalmers on the rear fuel tank rearward face I can see.

IIRC this tractor is a 1973 purchased new by his grandfather. You can see the stenciling quite well in quick blurbs although it is quite weathered, but original:
The guy does have more than one of these tractors. If you search his videos, one tractor has the rounded limb risers, the other has more sharp angled type risers. Both tractors are single top roller undercarriage. I believe he may have a third also that is a repaint as it has a mix of AC, and FA stenciling on it.

Rob.....I assume you checked out the 11B parts book under painting and marking?. It's pretty detailed with the sizes and location of the labels. It has both "FIATALLIS" and "ALLIS CHALMERS"....and yes the word FIATALLIS is not part of our vocabulary any more.

Hi Mel, I have a parts book, (electronic) for the tractor, but don't remember seeing reference to what I'm after? I will look again however.
FIAT is a four letter word not used much around the plant in those days.

Found the listing of sizes. It says "Decal" so never really paid much attention as I've not seen anything but painted myself.

To my surprise I've already received a reply from the screen printer. She has all those fonts and typeset in her corporate logo's book and can scale as needed. Having the dimensions needed I'm assured there will be no problems moving with what I'm wanting. She'll get screens made and I'll take the sheet metal to her for the actual placement.
I'm going with a yellow color that was common in the 1972 timeframe, but still undecided on a couple of "personal" touches.
