I'm curious to know the answer to that too. It seems in Britain they primarily have plowing matches. In the US it always seems to be 'plow days' - no actual competition. Here in Canada it's a mix of both (maybe a few more matches than days). When I was younger and stupid(er) I thought I was pretty good at setting up and operating a plow. Then I went to a few matches and listened to them talk, judge, and they gave me a copy of the rules and judging handbook. Holy smokes, talk about a different league.
