I was looking through the local classifieds online and some one had posted a wd45 for sale for $300 obo, shes tough and needs alittle TLC but is complete and motor isn't seized. He told me that if it doesn't sell he was sending it to scrap. It is a 1954 wd45 with three bolt wide front axle. I couldn't let it go for scrap so it followed me home. Wife wasn't too happy lol any way just thought id share my Allis find.

WD/WD45's are like rabbits, one day you will look outside at the tractor line and go where did all of them come from. lol I have the same trouble too.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

I can relate to your buying that tractor. For me, finding allis stuff for sale is like putting a bottle of whiskey in front of an alcoholic. You'll spend whatever it takes to get it. Darrel

Congrats on the new tractor! These things do tend to make you "need" more of them.

I've been browsing ads lately thinking it might be nice to have a dedicated bush hogging tractor and one with a mower would probably be pretty handy too.

Don't know what the wife will think of this plan though. Ermm

Ya shes an overall good find just needs a few of the typical thing like any other 60 year old tractor needs, fenders, battery box and rear rims need work. I am the biggest fan of the whole W series tractors so far I have 3 WD's, 2 WD45's, 2 WF's and 1 WC in counting lol. Numbers may change with out notice!
