Got an injector pump on a Long 610 that has a leak. I've been told there are 2 "o" rings and a gasket that longparts.com doesn't have. But they can sell me a new pump for a little north of $750. It's leaking between the top cap and the main body. Anybody got any ideas?

I'd take it apart carefully and get New O rings from a hardware store, pump shop,,,,, then get silicone made for fuel and reseal it,,,,,, it's worth a shot!

Tyler, does it have the Escorts engine in it? There may be some other sources for parts out there or as already suggested you may be able to match up the o rings. I have a Farmtrac 35 and getting parts will probably be a problem when I need them.

According to tractordata.com it's a UTB which is pretty much a fiat copy. I bought a deal in it from my father in law and when I get it fixed I'm going to send it on and find something a little more common. That makes the hardware store o rings and silicone more tempting

Thats just a CAV injection pump. You can get the gasket at most any farm equipment dealer. Not hard to repair. There is a spring between the cover and the body you have to unhook as you remove the cover. Then you can remove the throttle and shut off levers to change the oring in them. Sometimes the cover is actually wore out but you wont know till u get it off.

Deere used that pump, i want to say on the 2840. Try your local dealer, they should be able to get you the orings.
