I just purchased a 190XT which has the serial numbers ground off.  I can track the last two owners, but wondered if anyone could help me identify the age of the tractor.  I bought it in SW Michigan, and it had an Ohio dealers sticker on it.  It seems to be in good workable condition with a few needs, but ready to work.

Well I thought that i had posted a picture with the post, but apparently i need some more work on that area.  The tractor has the bar grill, and does not have a series label.  It does appear to have the original decals.

If you have the link, post that, or the location of your picture.

My 200 was involved in a traffic accident when it had about 100hrs on it. The tractor broke right at the bellhousing. The former owner traded it right there on a 210,dealer fixed the 200,and my dad bought it. There is no serial # on this tractor.Maybe yours was replaced also during its long life.

one of my d14's isnt ground off, but so pitted from rust that all but fragments are unreadable.  I often wonder if there was a way to find out and restamp them, but the only numbers are the engine serial left.
