Curious what you fellows run or recommend for a propane fuelled tractor engine oil. Neighbour is building a Minni Moline GVI with a HD800 ci propane engine.

Any good oil will run a lot longer in the LP engine than a gasoline or diesel engine because there won't be any fuel or partly burned fuel sneaking into the crankcase.

If the manufacturer recommends 100 hour changes, go 300 hours and send a sample in for testing. When I switched to AMSOIL 1 year/25,000 mile oil I sent in a sample at 10,000 miles/9 months and it easily passed.
