Just wonder what you do for lunch ?  Wife makes enough supper for 2.5 -3 people. Always have a little dab of something left over.. I play Mix and Match for lunch later in the week.

Had 3 cups of chile left over one night and a pork chop and  10 tater tots the next.. I cut up the pork chop into small bites and put them and the tots into the chile and make "stew".......

Few days ago we had a small rotisery chicken and mac& cheese... Ate about 3/4 of the chicken.. Pulled the rest off the bone  / cut up and put it and the mac into a bowl with a can of mushroom soup and made my own "chicken noodle soup for lunch...

Wife says i will eat ANYTHING... I told her its all fair game unless it eats me first !
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Eat leftovers most every day. Have not had portions small enough to combine into combinations that you describe. Interesting to say the least. Leftover spaghetti and venison stew so far this week. But not together!! Lol. Leftover pizza not my favorite. If no leftovers, I slip over to the Flying Weinie for a couple Chicago style dogs.

i always make extra of what ever i'm cooking up, it's so i can have left overs later in the night or the next day. my old lady....oooooops....i mean the loving wife also says i have a garbage gut! don't take any more time to make extra since yer making something anyway, saves time the next day tho. and it's cheaper and better for you than mcdonalds or burger barf or any of the other drive thru places around.

Freeze it in serving size portions and when you need a quick meal, tv dinner or soup you have it.

I generally do lunch close to the yard. By the time I drive to the house, scrounge for grub, eat, and drive back to work. All that time ‘off duty’, I am money ahead to get a salad and a piece of fish at the truck stop a 1/4 mile from work. I’ve tried the ‘pack a brown bag lunch’, but I wind up eating it on my way to work!! LOL
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

since it is not easy to cook for one... like some, I make a crockpot full or whatever and then have couple days - or more - to enjoy...
Holding a grudge is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die
