I purchased a used Honda mower from a long-time client of mine last spring. I am used to Honda mowers as I previously ran a Harmony series( steel deck) that finally rusted out so am aware of the awesome engine performance. I finally turned the mower over this afternoon to take the "blade" off for a sharpening and to my surprise/dismay, it had 2 blades off-set by roughly 3/4 of an inch.
Am I to assume this is a mulching blade set-up? Can I just go to the local "box store" and grab a single 21" blade( mulching is not a priority) ? Thanks

You will need shorter blade bolts if you only use 1 blade, it will contact the Blade clutch and mess things up

Nothing except by the time I got home from work and got the blades off, they were closed and I need to mow today (Sunday) . I could possibly put the old ones back on, but just can't bring myself to do it seeing how bad of shape they are in-beyond touching up with a grinder also, looks like they've been "touched up" previously by someone that shouldn't have access to a grinder LOL!!

OMG !! I can not believe the difference in performance with NEW OEM blades from a box store!! H/D had my style of blades in a HONDA sealed box that said MANUFACTURED IN USA!! I installed them this afternoon and couldn't believe the suction from under the deck! It was pulling leaves in from 15" away from the mower!!
