detroit diesel.  Or try to find relibuilt make after market parts for detroit.   They make them for detroit  kip in ny

Young and Son diesel on Macarty st in Indianapolis. 411 has the #. He has it all for detroit, and detroit doesnt cary much for those anymore

Check with truck parts supplier in your area, but i have found that Detroit Diesel is sometimes cheaper on parts than aftermarket or Auto Supply stores like NAPA
 On injectors I went through one of my truck parts dealers and got them for 50% of cost that DD wanted and DD did the rebuild but discounted that much to dealer.

53 series is about obsolete, they were heavily used in the 50's/60's but lost favor to the 71 series, I am not sure Detroit Diesel shops can get parts for these any longer.
